Maryland’s Inaugural Statewide Brownfield Conference

Toward Beneficial Reuse

The inaugural Maryland statewide brownfield conference took place on November 16–17, 2021 via GoToWebinar. Attendees also had the option for an in-person component on November 16 with meet-up group brownfield tours organized throughout the state, followed by networking events at social venues near the brownfield sites. The conference also offered opportunities to connect with other attendees both mornings with a virtual coffee chat on November 16 and a mindfulness exercise on November 17. We'd like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our presenters, meet-up group tour hosts, our Advisory Committee, and our partners at the Maryland Department of the Environment—who all helped make the conference a success.
