Maryland’s 4th Statewide Brownfield Conference

Save the Date for Maryland’s 4th Statewide Brownfields Conference ​

Join the Maryland Department of Planning and Maryland Department of the Environment on Friday, November 15, 2024 for the fourth statewide Brownfields Conference. The conference is designed for everyone that works in brownfields, including non-governmental/community organizations, local/state/federal governments, consultants, attorneys, and developers.  

The conference will follow three tracks attendees can choose:

  • Abandoned dry cleaners or gas stations, 
  • Obsolete shopping centers or office buildings, and  
  • Complex industrial facilities or landfills. 

Community engagement, renewable energy, and site planning will be addressed for each track. These were requested in survey results from the t​hird brownfields conference.
