​Re​​gistration for Maryland’s 4th Statewide Brownfield Conference is now open - seating is limited. The deadline to register is November 8 or when seating reaches capacity, whichever comes first. ​


 

Join the Maryland Department of Planning and Maryland Department of the Environment on Friday, November 15, 2024 for the fourth statewide Brownfields Conference. The conference is designed for everyone that works in brownfields, including non-governmental/community organizations, local/state/federal governments, consultants, attorneys, and developers.  

The conference will follow two tracks attendees can choose:

  • Abandoned dry cleaners or gas stations, and  
  • Complex industrial facilities or landfills. 

Community engagement, renewable energy, and site planning will be addressed for each track. These were requested in survey results from the t​hird brownfields conference. 

The program for Maryland’s 4th Statewide Brownfields Conference​ is now available. Get acquainted with this year’s conference format and session topics, which were designed based on survey feedback from attendees at last year’s conference. Conference speaker highlights include federal and state brownfield leaders, and regional industry experts from non-profit organizations, private consulting, and local government.
