​What brownfield funding opportunities and tax incentives are available?

Several funding opportunities and tax incentives include: EPA Assessment Grants; Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) Grants; Cleanup Grants; Multipurpose (Assessment and Cleanup Combination) Brownfield Grants; Area-Wide Planning Grants; Environmental Workforce Development and Job Training (EWDJT) Grants; State and Tribal Response Grants; and Small Community Technical Assistance Grants.

Other federal agencies may also provide opportunities for brownfield projects.

 

The state of Maryland and local jurisdictions also provide tax incentives for brownfield remediation/redevelopment.
