The Maryland Sustainable Growth Subcabinet (Subcabinet) held its semi-annual Public Forum on August 17 at the annual MACo summer conference and as a virtual meeting. The Subcabinet reported on its current work and progress on 2024 legislative directives.
As a forum for discussion and collaboration across state agencies on topics of land use and shaping of the built environment, the Subcabinet is uniquely positioned to advance growth and development that generates economic opportunity in balance with our responsibilities of natural resources stewardship and the fostering of healthy, thriving communities for all Marylanders.
The next public forum of the Subcabinet will take place on December 20, 2024. It will be held virtually. More details will be coming.
