The Maryland Sustainable Growth Subcabinet (Subcabinet) holds semi-annual virtual Public Forums twice a year in August and in December. At the public forums, the Subcabinet reports on its current work advancing sustainable growth and any new initiatives planned by the agencies.
As a forum for discussion and collaboration across state agencies on topics of land use and shaping of the built environment, the Subcabinet is uniquely positioned to advance growth and development that generates economic opportunity in balance with our responsibilities of natural resources stewardship and the fostering of healthy, thriving communities for all Marylanders.
The next public forum of the Subcabinet will take place on August 14, 2026. It will be held as a virtual meeting. More details will be coming.
