Maryland Planning Commissioners Association

MPCA Regional Workshops

In response to input from its membership, in 2019 the MPCA initiated a regional workshop program to engage with citizen planners and staff around the state. The first one was held in Hagerstown in March 2019, and the second in Annapolis in July. The organization will conduct workshops every winter, spring, and summer; reserving the fall for the annual conference. At each event, the MPCA Board and its partners conduct training sessions on essential and timely topics. Attendees also engage in a regional dialogue around best practices, barriers, and creative approaches to citizen planning in their regions. You can access regional dialogue notes using the links below. If you would like the MPCA to visit your region, please contact Joe Grififths at joseph.griffiths@maryland.gov.
