Meaningful Actions
Section 2-401(c) of Maryland’s Housing and Community Development Article defines a meaningful action as a “significant action that is designed and can be reasonably expected to achieve a material positive change by, for example, increasing fair housing choice or decreasing disparities in access to opportunity.” The Additional Resources section below includes examples of meaningful actions that jurisdictions should review when considering the development of their own.
