    Excel spreadsheets have been created to aid local governments in challenging census 2000 counts. These files contain total population, group quarters population, total housing counts and occupied and vacant housing units for each cenus block. Each jurisdiction ( 23 counties and Baltimore City ) are in separated Excel spreadsheet files. For more information on the U.S. Census Bureau's Count Question Resolution Program go to CQR

    2. These Census 2000 Zip Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs) are different than the U.S. Postal Service Zip Code delivery area. There will not be a match between the two Zip Code areas. Later this year, we will obtain the geographic boundaries for the ZCTAs.
