Maryland's Septics Law Module: What Planning Commissioners Need to Know

The Maryland Department of Planning developed this training for members of planning commissions, planning boards, planning advisory boards and boards of appeals to provide the foundation to implement Maryland's Septics Law (the Sustainable Growth and Agricultural Preservation Act of 2012). In addition to providing an overview of the law, the 20-minute training outlines the roles of planning commissioners as they consider major residential subdivision applications in Tier III areas and during future comprehensive plan updates.

This module is presented as series of training videos. After watching each session, click the Next button below the video window (icon of next) to advance to the next session. You may click the Previous button (icon of previous) at any time to go back to the previous session.
