Smart Growth Information Clearinghouse
The Maryland Department of Planning, through a cooperative agreement with the US EPA Office of Sustainable Communities, operates the Smart Growth Information Clearinghouse, a national web-based source of up-to-date news, resources, events and funding and training opportunities related to Smart Growth. This is a great resource for anyone interested in learning more, or finding funding opportunities, about things like place-based economic development, community revitalization, green infrastructure, infrastructure funding, transit-oriented development, community resilience and much, much more!
The Clearinghouse also serves as the virtual home of the Smart Growth Network, a coalition of 40 organizations that work to boost the economy, enhance community vitality and protect the environment.
