The Maryland State Data & Analysis Center
The Maryland Department of Planning coordinates the State Data and Analysis Center (SDAC) in Maryland. SDAC monitors development trends, analyzes social, economic and housing characteristics, and prepares population, household, labor force, and employment projections, which provide the baseline for planning for growth and development in the State. SDAC is an official partner with the U.S. Census Bureau.
