What is MdProperty View?

We have updated MDProperty View to be more flexible. Instead of one large project file, we now provide the parcel data on its own. This makes it easier to use with different types of mapping and analysis software.

Data Formats: You can download shapefiles for individual counties and Baltimore City. A geodatabase for the entire state is also available. Downloads include parcel points and parcel polygons.

Property Info: We link the ​assessment data to parcel maps. State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT) provides this data.

Assessment D​​ata: We update the link between SDAT data and parcel locations quarterly.

Parcel Maps: We update the parcel boundaries and points by county on a rolling basis. This update occurs during tax assessment map production. There are no tax asses​sment maps for Baltimore City. We update Baltimore City parcel points by using the City's parcel boundaries. You can view the Production Schedule for more information.
