Estimates

This section contains estimates of selected socioeconomic variables. An estimate differs from a projection in that it is for either the current year or a past time period. Projections deal with the future and can be found under the Projections tab.

This section reports on population estimates, income and poverty estimates, housing development and residential sales estimates, and migration estimates. Estimates of Jobs by Place of Work and Personal Income can be found at the Jobs and Income tab. The Maryland Statistical Handbook is another source of demographic, socioeconomic, and housing estimates.
